"The client approached us with a preconceived idea of the furniture he wanted, taking into account his needs.
Owner of a large collection of whiskey bottles that would like to display, he sought a solution that could "enlarge" an existing cabinet, and complement it.
Besides the fact that this project was somehow a challenge to start with, I had other limitations such as space and materials, however, the ultimate challenge was to "outline" a wall-mounted fixture that should not be moved ...!
I chose a modern and bold design. The finishings match the existing cabinet, the edges (in high gloss lacquered) are slightly darker and the shelf surfaces are in fabric.
To provide sustainability to the structure (which is very light) stabilizer bars were created with 4 fixings on the wall.
The result was a functional shelving unit that suited our client´s needs.
And a satisfied customer is undoubtedly a successful project"
